The vast majority of our junior hockey sticks will be of a composite material and contain a percentage of carbon. Generally speaking the higher the carbon content then more expensive the stick. Composite hockey sticks will be lighter, have a greater pick up and reduce any tension of shock moving up stick when striking the ball. They will also offer greater power over a wood stick.It is important, when choosing your hockey stick, to ensure you get the right size. When youngsters are developing their skills and technique, a hockey stick that is too big can be a real hindrance.
