Shop our stunning range of size 5 cricket bats available both in our store and online. Size 5 bats would usually suit children aged between 10 and 13 between 5′ and 5″3″ but of course this can vary.

When buying your size 5 cricket bat we would always recommend visiting us in store, browsing the range and getting some expert advice but if this is not possible then here are a few handy tips.

Once you have confirmed that size 5 is correct the first decision may be what grade willow you would like to go for. The higher the grade of willow will mean the better the ping and performance of the bat. All our cricket bats are constructed from English Willow and the higher the grade will usually correspond to the higher price points.

Other then willow grade the next important thing to consider is the shape or profile of the bat. Starting at size 5 bat makers can really start to create variations on shape and its important the get the right shape to suit your game.

Low middle cricket bats tend to suit those players looking to hit straight, whilst higher middle cricket bats tend to suit players who want a lighter pick up but also prefer cross batted shots.

If you need any help or assistance in choosing your bat then please do not hesitate to contact us on 01638 741611 or email info@mrcrickethockey.com
