There are many different types of balls available and its important the get the right size. Those junior cricketers player under 13 and under should use a 4 3/4 oz ball, whilst aged 14 and over will move onto a full size 5 1/4 oz ball.
Recently the ICC introduced a women’s weight ball which weighs around 5 oz, in between the junior and senior cricket ball size. As well as the weight the ball will also change in size according to the weight so the players should be able to hold the ball easier.
We stock a range of hard leather balls that are suitable for net practice starting around £5 and up to balls that are suitable for full adult matches and the price will vary depending on the quality. Many of our balls are hand stitched here in the UK.
